50’ x 24’ x 4’ SELF-PROPELLED DECK BARGE
This barge, equipped with 40’ spuds offers versatility in configuration for bridge work or specialty projects. The barge is 1200 square feet and has a deck capacity of 25 tons. The barge is equipped with a 7.5 ton hydraulic telescoping crane with 47’ reach. There is ample lighting for night operations.

52’ x 20’ x 5’ TRUCKABLE SHUGART SECTIONAL BARGE
This truckable barge, equipped with 40’ spuds is ideal for inland or distant marine access projects. Over 1000 square feet of deck space offers ample room for contractor equipment. The barge has a deck capacity of 75 tons. This barge is equipped with a 10 ton knuckle-boom crane with 41’ reach and 2 ton whip line.

All Smith Marine, Inc. equipment meets or exceeds USCG regulations.
Each vessel listed above is available at a daily charter rate, which INCLUDES licensed vessel/crane operator, work/safety boat and insurance.

Note: Barge rates are based on an 8 hour day. Overtime charges and fuel are additional. Mobilization quoted on a per job basis.

Pier and Seawall Construction

In the Winter of 2018 our timber seawall suffered significant damage during a 'Noreaster. After evaluating numerous marine contractors, we selected Smith Marine to build a new, safer and longer-lasting wall. I can only say that during the entire project, the Smith crew exhibited the highest possible standards in terms of work ethic, client relations and professionalism. They worked seamlessly with the city's Conservation Committee and the Engineering firm who designed the wall. The result: A gorgeous, higher, safer and more durable wall. Their attention to detail during construction was exacting as was their care for our property. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who needed a job done to perfection. They know their stuff!
