These highly maneuverable and TRUCKABLE Tow Boats are shallow draft with a 17’ height of eye. Miles Andrew powered by John Deere 300 series engines and twin disc reduction gears turning up 280 HP. Smith Marine vessels all arrive to the jobsite equipped with full electronics including RADAR, WAAS GPS Plotter, depth sounder, dual VHF’s, floodlights and searchlights. Deck hardware includes two 5000# Wintech deck winches, 6’ Fendered push knees, complete hull fendering and tow bitt. Vessels are outfitted with USCG Safety Equipment and meets USACE standards.

MILES ANDREW: A 25’ x 14’ x 4.5’ draft, 280 HP Twin screw boat is fitted with flanking rudders and equipped with heated pilot house.

Pier and Seawall Construction

In the Winter of 2018 our timber seawall suffered significant damage during a 'Noreaster. After evaluating numerous marine contractors, we selected Smith Marine to build a new, safer and longer-lasting wall. I can only say that during the entire project, the Smith crew exhibited the highest possible standards in terms of work ethic, client relations and professionalism. They worked seamlessly with the city's Conservation Committee and the Engineering firm who designed the wall. The result: A gorgeous, higher, safer and more durable wall. Their attention to detail during construction was exacting as was their care for our property. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who needed a job done to perfection.
