Continuous additions and improvements to our fleet and crew allow us to be your “one stop shop” for any Marine Contracting needsincluding shoreside, inland, coastal and offshore projects. Our expanding scope of services include Marine Construction and Contracting, Marine Research, Towing Services and Tug Support, Crane Barge Services inclusive, but not limited to pile driving, dock and pier construction, dredging, core sampling and marina maintenance. Our division of Scientific Charters and Alternative Energies is gaining speed as we navigate into the new age of environmental growth. Our deepwater home port facility located in Boston Harbor offers a safe and accessible location for staging and shoreside services to our clients.  Smith Marine, Inc. operates principally in New England, but we travel within the Continental US, as much of our equipment is truckable. We value each and every one of our clients and will make every effort to accommodate all requests while taking into consideration time, budget and safety.

Pier and Seawall Construction

In the Winter of 2018 our timber seawall suffered significant damage during a 'Noreaster.  After evaluating numerous marine contractors, we selected Smith Marine to build a new, safer and longer-lasting wall. I can only say that during the entire project, the Smith crew exhibited the highest possible standards in terms of work ethic, client relations and professionalism. They worked seamlessly with the city's Conservation Committee and the Engineering firm who designed the wall. The result: A gorgeous, higher, safer and more durable wall.
